Nougat Limar's name is in reference to the origins of the soft-style nougat which we produce. The French-style of our nougat is made with the same process and recipe as the world-famous & home of nougat, Montélimar.
Recipes for nougat and similar confectionary are centuries old and come from many different countries. The styles can differ substantially in texture and flavour, as well as the nuts and fruits traditionally included in each.
In keeping with the French traditions, our nougat is soft and creamy, not too sweet, and is partially wrapped in an edible rice paper using premium Australian ingredients.
